Your adventure begins with a scenic drive to Thimphu, where you’ll visit the National Memorial Chorten and the grand Tashichho Dzong. The following day immerses you in Bhutanese culture with stops at the towering Buddha Dordenma Statue, the Folk Heritage Museum, and the Institute for Zorig Chusum, capped with a traditional cultural performance.
Traveling eastward, you’ll cross the spectacular Dochula Pass, with its panoramic Himalayan views, before arriving in Punakha to marvel at the majestic Punakha Dzong and hike to Chimi Lhakhang. The journey continues to the serene Phobjikha Valley, home of the black-necked cranes, and onward to Trongsa Dzong and the cultural heartland of Bumthang, where sacred temples and pilgrimage sites await.
